Ephesians 2:8-9 (New Living Translation)
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Nothing you can do will save you. God said it int hese Scripture. He did it and you didn't do anything so you cannot boast and brag about anything any of us did. We do not get savedd because we are doing good but after salvation we have the desire to do good and live a good life to bring honor and glory to God! That is our purpose here on earth to bring honor and glory to God and that everything we do will point to JESUS! Thank you Jesus, for saving my soul! I once was lost but now am found; was blind but now I see! Thank you Jesus!
