James 4 (American Standard Version)
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.
The Bible tells us that we cannot have two masters. We have to choose God or satan. Most of us make our choice out of convenience; whichever is the easiest at the time. We cannot do that. God is a jealous God and we have to be loyal to Him. I praise the Lord for God always loving me and caring for me no matter what I do. He doesn't have His moods and in those moods He might not take care of me. If the mood hits! Praise the Lord! He is there by my side ALWAYS. We have to draw close to God and resist the devil. God is not the one that ever moves, we are. We have give God our ALL!

8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
