Southern Skies In the Fall ~~A Photo Essay

I never liked the Fall really. The changes in the weather were only going to the worse as far as I'm concerned as I never cared for the cold weather up North.

Since we've moved South, I have a new appreciation for the Fall, as the weather is not too cool and the skies give us the most beautiful show almost every night.

Beautiful, these are the types of pictures that I really like and tend to take myself, thanks for sharing.
I remember this night.....I was all set to turn in early and happened to look out the window and they sky was so amazing I went out and just started to snap away.....I'm glad I did.

Thank you Richard. I really do think the Southern skies are the loveliest I've seen. They can be very pretty up North, but sometimes, especially when the cooler winds start coming in, it really is amazing to look at the skies.

Beautiful photos Katie. I too have come to like the fall in the south, whereas I was not a fan in the north.
Isn't it amazing how you can come to appreciate something you never did before when the angle is changed?

beautiful capture Katie... our sunsets come so early now... i tend to miss them.
Thank you d.d. They are earlier than they were in August and September, but not as early as in the North.

Nice shots! What are the morning temps in your area Katie? Temps have been going down into the 40's in the north metro area.
We had the last two days of 40's overnight, but for the most part it's always in the 50's. Warming up again today thank goodness, lol.

I'm not certain that I could give up Northern temperatures and weather, even if I'm not always fond of the cold days.

Breathtaking!
Thank you all. It cooled off, then warmed up again, so it may be a few days before I see such lovely skies again. Once it cools down once more.

Very Beautiful! I love when the sunsets and rises its like a gift from God! I live in the South and the views from the mountains and hill sides is a spectacular site as well especially when the weather changes and all the trees change colors. I will never give it up for nothing . Its my hole life.I hope your having a great day Katie.:)
