Mother's Day Poem By My Daughter

I just posted a short Mother's Day poem by my 10 year old sun.  This poem is by my 8 year old daughter.  Little Sistah Sunshine also write her first haiku because she is on the Shedding Light journey with me, thanks to Mariana T.  Now Sistah Sunshine is inspired to write more and penned this in a lovely homemade Mother's Day card:

Dear Mom

I love you with all my heart,

You're the only one in me,

You're the only mom to cherish,

And the person who made me be.

You're the one I can trust and love,

The one who's sweeter than sugar,

A mom who never lies,

Who is peaceful like a dove.

I was amazed by her depth of thought and use of rhyme.  Yay poetry!!

this is absolutely precious. Please tell Sistah Sunshine that I am so proud of her and her wonderful creations - they are like a lovely word dance across this screen.
