Dancing so wildly, maybe equally carefree
One eye stuck in position, one eye wanders free
May we be one so Holy, should somehow come to three
How fast such novelty fades or maybe we cede
Like serene billowing, clouds seeking calmer wind
With familiar currents saying hello again
Parsing traction calling, definitions well bent
Polishing rag in hand, restoring says good friend
Memory, sometimes forgotten, like rustic maze
Dead End street signs clang out snapshots of yesterday
From the gallery, still under construction panes
Finding meditative torture, turning page
For refills of laughter, in sorrow touching age
Answering tea leaves, swirling wand to pretend
Banana peel slips, castles of sand, playful grin
Seconds ticking, trying hard not to be observed
Graciously pardon them, hug silence, as they blur
Days in a life so figuratively moving
Grooving to experience, beyond the two step
Miss it, yes, miss it, but to be part of this play
Rhapsody sings evocations as colors fade
Waiting on suffragette's, abeyance counting signs
Seasonal arrays, firm arrangements, lies and lines
Decoding cardboard faces, marking each attempt
Maybe tomorrow's a fine day, as today spins
Goals, lists and excuses and some temporal facts
Look to the skies, sit with longing, wallpaper dance
As corners loosen, from these island walls
Dawning glides into sunsets, moonlit lull
Etching wayward star, mirage daily drip fashion
Reminders of truths, dreaming not bereft passion
Melodious paint brush, can and able fables
Guiding hand, exploration, carressing angels
As the numbers counting backwards, remain aside
Like Don Quixote finding grains in troubled mind
What ballyhoo could dissemble this dance of life
And the two step lives on like vanishing wine

Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
definitions well bent
