And our talk of hope quite pleasantly:
Parts of innocence blending, window fog
Things up or down with no criteria
Awareness adds a heavy weight with crown
Enter the threshold, decisions direct
Avenues of signals, running around
Roads fraught, siphoned detail and mystery
Diagrams, charades, send endless clutter
Paths filled with thick as a brick advice
Lists of do and don't matter are changeling
Struggles live in delightful happiness
It's the caring and sharing hope will sing
There's a rope ladder for climbing mountains
Warm winds are blowing, each rung says success
If eternal smiling faces start to breed
Here, there and everywhere, may sun's lips kiss
Beautiful glaze on clay, hope being testament
Signature from dawning, siphoned again

Thanks for posting to Writing Reservoir.
with a delicious dance through obstructive
and deferred and metaphorical
encroachments with great success....it is all in your perception,
and that is a view that we must own and realign to build
this new future that cries out so for love to nourish its
fragile first steps forward. Wonderful poem, William!

This quote is a vibrant prayer in itself.

RE: I wholeheartedly agree with you; sexuality should not be an important factor to platonic friendships. It should only matter in romantic endeavors. It sounds to me that your friend has gone off to be one of those bad apples.
Lovely positive images.
