Next in line for our kitty cats is Rocky. Rocky is the largest of our cats at somewhere between 19 and 22 lbs. He is about six years old to. We didn't get Rocky as a kitten like the others.
Rocky came to our back door hungry and crying. D couldn't help but feel for the fellow. D put him in a cat carrier and then took him to one of the bathrooms away from our other cats, just in case he was sick or something and gave him something to eat. The next morning we took him to our Vet and had his little paw fixed up as it had a sore and the vet also gave him some medicine. Seems our little guy had been eathing earthworm and other grubs and that wasn't good. We took his picture then posted it around our apartment complex and at the local pet stores. We were almost certain that someone moved and abandoned him.
We contacted a few of the shelters SICSA was overflowing with kittens and could not accommidate a full grown cat. Neither the Green County nor the Montgomery Country shelters (Ohio) had a no-kill policy so we decided to adopt him ourselves. The adorable fat thing has wrapped himself around our hearts and we just love him.
His only real bad habit is the amount of food he eats. He also has a bad habit of drowning his toys. We find stuffed mice, ribbons and kibbles in the water bowl all the time.
