If not, I'll review. He's 115 lbs. of love, but he's got major health problems. He's got kidney problems, joint problems, ear problems, and now his hair is falling out in clumps. He has dry patces on his skin. Any suggestions? My vet bill are out of sight, so I'm not going back unless it's serious.
My last bill was today for $179. Two weeks ago, it was 180, and the week before $152.
I need to healthy up my pup from the inside out. He's on special diet food the vet recommends and eats six cups a day. I could have had a horse for less.
Anyway, my gather friends are always helpful, so any ideas for dry dog skin?

What is causing his hair loss? Is it from the kidney problems?
Did your vet tell you anything?
Just wondering.
Sorry you're not well.
I had 2 dogs with skin problems...all gone after I started feeding them Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice. It's been 5 yrs now, and both are doing great. :o)
If your dog is allergic to many things perhaps you should try home cooking his food? Really, it's not all that difficult....they can thrive on a lot of the same fruits and veggies and meats that we eat, only you have to limit salt, sugar, spices, etc.
I'm betting your pretty boy is worth the trouble and expense, now isn't he? :o)
Wonderful for the skin and coat....HIGHLY digestible... (i.e. it doesn't cause loose stools like some oils can)
