Another day is here! This morning I had a piece of toast and two eggs for breakfast. With a tall glass of cold milk! For a little added flavor, I added a little shredded cheese and bacon bits to the top of my eggs. YUM!!!
For lunch we are having tortilla wraps and fresh fruit and for dinner I'm making stew in the crock pot! I can already smell the stew.
My biggest challenge and obstacle has always been portion control! Before I decided to make a change in my life, portions weren't even an issue. I ate what I wanted to eat and when I wanted to eat it! The word "portion" never even crossed my mind until I decided to make a change.
I started by using smaller plates and bowls. The illusion of enough food was still there because the plate was full! And to be totally honest, I was full and satisfied and didn't leave the table hungry. This simple trick really does work!
I can still enjoy all of my favorite foods, just in smaller portions! I still eat dessert too. I haven't had to give up anything to lose weight and get healthier. I learned that they key is all in the size of the portion!

Keep up the good work!
Now that I've added some excess pounds I need to figure how to change this. My rarely being hungry (despite not eating for hours and hours and hours) only adds confusion because I either just don't eat, or I eat for the formalities (I need energy even if not hungry) and for the taste (and then we have issues there as well.)
I miss running around as a waitress and eating whatever I wanted and being a size 9. Well, I miss the latter half of that anyway. I prefer at home mother over waitressing, but the weight gain is not fun.
