After we watched the parade, Watch the parade with us... A photo essay, we headed over to the high school for the vendors, games and food! The kids had a wonderful time watching the parade and playing games. Of course, the candy and prizes were a huge hit as well.
Each year our town celebrates with a two-day festival, sponsored by the local Chamber, which promises "Hometown America Events" including a parade, vendors, games, food and music. Other activities included weiner dog races, lawnmower races, a dunk tank, a watermelon eating contest, big wheel races, 9-11 safety house, reptile display and a wall climbing event. Ronald McDonald even put on a magic show!
