I love this time of year here in Pennsylvania. The air smells so sweet with the trees and the lilac bushes blooming. Even the smell of wild onions brings pleasure to me.
We always plant two vegetable gardens and have an herb garden. Years ago I grew all of my own vegetables, herbs and flowers from seed. I had heat tapes and cold frames. Now I only start around a dozen flats. It is a challenge keeping them warm and providing light. Some days are good to set the flat out, but must still be brought inside in the evenings.
Today is only 51 degrees. So, my plants are inside with me. Here are a few shots for you to see. Many have been transplanted twice already and are doing fine. We will not plant until around Memorial weekend.
Did I say that I love this time of year? LOL!!!
