I finished my nightly routine last night, climbed into bed, looked down, and saw this.

Three of our four cats on the bed.

There was Reese,

Lexus,

and Jack.

You wouldn't think cats would take up much room. They do!

But where is your fourth cat, you may be asking. I knew where to find her.

Where she is every night - in bed with her person, my daughter, Haley.

This is June.

So, my question is: where will I sleep?!

And our kitties sleep in the basement. Wouldn't want one of them to "surprise" one of the dogs in the middle of the night.
Marilyn
You may want to invest in a sleeping bag for you and Ron to sleep in
Or there is always the couch...
LOL @ Roxanne. Didn't even think of that!
How many cats do you have Shannon?
Marilyn: They were indeed. Nudging doesn't work. LOL
I hope you get to have cats again someday soon, Kate. I would miss ours terribly. Even if they do take up all the room! LOL
I just piled in there myself, Sue. LOL The bed was later filled with two little warm children anyway. I ended up getting up after that and sleeping in Haley's emtpy bed. ; )
Shannon: Aww, that story was so sad. I can't believe that a person would intentionally run over a cat, or any other animal for that matter. That is terrible! I hope you can get another cat someday. Don't let that experience stop you. Pets are great. Rosie would get used to a cat. How is she with other cats around the neighborhood?
Thanks for reading and commenting, Robyn!
Gwen: They'd probably start sleeping with me there too! LOL
Mom: Nah, I'd miss the cats. LOL
Thanks Marianne. This is the first photo I've posted on here of Lexus (the black one). She's really hard to get a good photo of because she doesn't show up very well.
Adair: Yeah, no matter where I put my legs, they always move to where they're right up against me. LOL
Thanks Bonnie.
No doubt, Toni! LOL
Yeah, sometimes they burn me up, Joan! LOL
Good point, Vikki! I remember our old dog Pearl The Wonder Dog would take up all available space until we were just sort of squished up near the top. LOL
Thanks Elaine.
Hey Joni!
Phyllis: No way! Not the floor! LOL Jack is definitely quite the character. He has a black tail too, but only his tail is black. He's white from the base on up. It's funny.
I thought it was so cute that I had to feature it.
Each of my cats are 16 pounds and they too get into my bed they will get in after I am a sleep and I wake up to them eather walking on me or they are taking so much room that I wake up because I feel like I am falling out of bed.
Once I got up lifted the covers and made sherbert, Ringo (the cats) Jane and Scampi (the dogs) and Carrie get out so I could remake up my bed and try it all again... they drive me nuts..but I love them. I guess.
Thanks Elizabeth. I love the name Othello.
Wow! Thanks for the feature JoAnne!
Thanks Michelle. I think they were a bit freaked by the camera. LOL I was interrupting their quiet time. Hehe.
Thanks Birdee!
They're like little heating pads or something, Gette. LOL
Awww, poor pets, Tina. You should just let them sleep with you.
Glad I'm not alone, Nancy! LOL
LOL @ your story Jodie. I remember Sherbert and Ringo. I love my kitties.
Thanks Meg!
Thanks Pam. Reese is mine. Or I guess I'm hers. LOL Haley is June's person; my husband is Lexus's, I'm Reese's, and Jack was supposed to belong to Parker but he just sort of loves us all.
It's your bed isn't it? Make 'em move...
I remember sharing the bed with kids who lay every which way... Once I made up my mind it was my bed, and moved 'em over and around when I wanted to go to bed, it worked out fine - they adjusted to my presence, not I to theirs...
