I am so stoked!
I recived a call yesturday inviting me to be the photographer at the Mid Summer Expo in Detriot!
You may remember back in November I had been invited to be the photographer at the "Xcape Con" comic book convention. I was stoked then! It turned out to be a great learning experiance and total blast!
Well it turns out that the creators were blown away with my work! They Loved my black and whites, and they loved me!
I accepted the honnor to be the offical photographer for the midsummer expo! (I mean, who wouldnt) They also offered me a table to display and possibly sell some of my Photography work!..........Really!?? I said!!! (I'm kinda still in shock, this is big, this is exciting!) I'm still kinda up in the air about the table. Not 100% I am ready for that yet. (although, they seem to think I am!)

If you are not familiar with this area, PLEASE stay within the immediate area, don't' go straying around even one block. Greektown and the Theater district are great areas due to security. Stray beyond that area of influence and you're asking for trouble which will find you in short order.

The only reason why I am unsure about the table is.... I'm not sure whos going to run it. If I am going around the Expo hall taking photos than I need someone sitting at my table keeping my work secure.
My husband said he could possibly do it, but that still leaves us finding a sitter. There is NO way 2 toddlers are going to sit still at a table for 9 hours!!! :)

I am a bit familiar with the area, and trust me I dont plan on straying away. I know how rough the subs can be around that area.. I am way to white, and way to country to be going beyond the "safe" area...lol:)
