In brightest day, in darkest night, an animated Green Lantern movie is within sight. Let those who worshiped Wonder Woman and Gotham Knight’s might behold the power of. . . Green Lantern: First Flight ! (I assure you, it’s incredibly funny if you’re a Green Lantern fanboy)
This is fantastic news. Green Lantern is in my top five superheroes list (can you guess who’s number one?), and it’s about time GL fans got the animated movie they deserved. First Flight is set to be released July 28th and will chronicle the journey of Hal Jordan — everyone’s favorite emerald ring bearer and STFU if you disagree — as he learns the basics of intergalactic crime fighting alongside corps veteran Sinestro. And nothing could go wrong when your mentor’s name is “Sinestro,” right?
