Hey folks. Since my book, The Book of Harry Potter Trifles, Trivias and Particularities, vol. 1, comes out next week, I’d thought I’d have a little contest here to win a copy.
The 300-page book, which is filled with trivia questions (675!) also contains boxes throughout it that provide trivia on herbology, mythology and history; analysis of the books; and information about fan phenomena such as wizard rock and muggle Quidditch. The first person to correctly guess the number of these boxes that appear in the book (this does not include the “Hint” boxes that appear every six questions), will win a
copy of the book!
If on November 28, the day it’s released, there still isn’t a correct answer here, I’ll declare the person who guessed closest first, the winner!

Edited to Add: I have just gotten word that the books have arrived at my publishers office. I'm going to pick them up and will announce the winner tonight. I've posted a comment below as a cut-off line for the last valid entry. Thanks to everyone who entered and for all your well wishes.

I suppose I must guess. 3451
It's available now for Pre-order on Amazon.com (click the link in the article) and Powells. (It's also on B&N, but we have to fix a glitch with the release date they have listed before peopel can order). We've also had orders forit from bookstores (both majors and independents) around the country, but I couldn't tell you what where specifically.
Thanks for entering and for your enthusiasm.
I'll guess 75
Believe it or not, that was my clock number. When a new company took us over they assigned us all new clock numbers by our order of seniority. At that time I was 125 from the top. When I retired I was only about 6 from the top (we had about 750 employees at the time I got the 125)...
More trivia than you ever wanted to know about me!!!
my guess is......437
BEST OF LUCK on your book! :-D
I promise to turn it cover forward at every bookstore I'm at.
We are working on a website and should have a way for peopel to order autographed copies soon.
Thanks!
So, I'll try 125.
However many, I'm gonna buy the book! I've enjoyed our previous Harry Potter discussion (or two).
I will buy a copy as soon as I find the time to my husband and I are big Harry Potter fans.
I guess 57!
i'd say 96
Thanks!
