How much of yourself would you give to preserve the United States as a Republic? It is up to us. Liberal Democrats are pushing toward a Socialistic, if not Communistic, form of government where the State takes care of every need, controls industry, controls ever aspect of our lives. Extreme Right Wing Republicans are pushing toward an Oligarchy or Fascist government that would be just as bad.
Both are pushing toward a One World Government that would control the entire globe. Each have their own vision of what that government would look like but both are working toward the same goal.
Ever since Bush, the first, announced the New World Order the vision of a One World Government has been out in the open. Before that event it was hidden but just as dangerous to the American way of life.
Case in point: Every science fiction film produced that depicts space travel, (Star Trek, Star Wars, Lost in Space, etc) assumes a One World Government. Why? It is brain washing to help us accept the concept.
The UN has expanded from a forum for nations to a dictatorial power that attempts to make laws which are mandatory to all nations. They have assumed taxing powers and have dictated to the USA in many matters not within their powers as given them when the UN was formed.
Our own government has subverted our supreme law, the Constitution for years, turned our financial sector over to a consortium of banks, miss-used our military might to subjugate other nations, passed laws nationally that bypass the 10th amendment, is currently attempting to subvert and delete both the first and second amendment.
It is time for every American who values the freedoms we have in this country to stand up and say enough is enough at the voting booth. If that does not work I hate to think of the consequences or logical response.
When I stand with my hand over my heart and pledge allegiance to the United States I mean it when I say, “I pledge allegiance to the flag and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands.”

A response to the article titled, "This is what Civil War in America will Look Like."
Secession, a word that has been bandied around since the beginning of this nation of individual states and rights, something many take lightly, and others believe to be wrong. Why a state would secede from this great Union of States, and is it even legal, is the question being approached today.
Prior to the Revolutionary War our nation's founding fathers got together and decided to write a letter to the King of England who at the time was the rightful ruler of this country. These same founding fathers decided that for many reasons we had the right to separate from our parent country of England and become our own nation. One reason was as follows, âHe has erected a multitude of NewOffices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substanceâ and another âHe hasaffected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.âNow some of you may say that we need certain things to make other things go tick. I say no we do not- in fact we as citizens of this nation are supposed to be the greatest of the powers and not the president or senate or even judges.
According to the Declaration of Independence the following applies, âThatthese united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent Statesâthat is right- free and independent States! The paragraph continues as follows, âand that as Free andIndependent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do.â, not as a solidified country, but as free and independent states. The principles of this nation, the founding documents make it clear that this is a country of and Peoples' rights with a Limited Federal Government. When the founding fathers were amending the Constitution and writing it, they made it clear that certain principles must be followed.
The Tenth Amendment, âThe powers not delegated to theUnited States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.â Easily one of the most ignored and yet most important of the amendments today. Abraham Lincoln attempted to destroy the freedom of the individual state by waging an illegal war against states that rightfully and legally seceded. While I disagree wholeheartedly with slavery especially in this nation, I cannot disagree rightfully with the Southern States and their legitimate complaints and even more legitimate secession. You see what is often ignored by modern Americans is the simple fact that the South seceded not just for slavery, but also to keep more of their money. The Northern states had levied massive tariffs and taxes against only southern goods being delivered to northern factories, and yet did not levy the same against the northern factories.
The time prior to secession and the War of Northern Aggression (i.e. the Civil War) was almost as bad politically as what we see today in modern America. Today we see varied methods of raping the land being put in place by politicians in power. We see trillions of dollars being spent and no forward movement, we see numerous foreign-based companies being âassistedâ with billions of our dollars and yet the United States remains in debt, and having financial difficulties. We owe our children's, children's, children,s souls to China and other nations. We are allowing even more government control and more programs to be put in place. âHe has erected a multitudeof New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substanceâ
I understand the desire to see everyone succeed however dividing what others rightfully make with those who have not earned it is wrong. This is not what the founding fathers meant when they said, âWe hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, which among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.â What the founding fathers meant was every man should have the ability to freely pursue their life, to be what they want to be. They meant that everyone should have the ability to earn that, which makes them happy.
Therefore, when a state or group of states, or individuals makes it clear that they are not happy with how the Federal Government is running things than it is the duty of the Federal Government to change how it operates not the other way around. It is the right of the individual states to decide whether they are better off without the Federal Government. The case I make today is that every one of us has the right to choose how we will live our lives, that is a part of our unalienable rights. No government should decide how we as individuals are to spend that which we earn, and that which makes us who we are. It was made clear upon the foundation of this nation that each of us has the right to worship as we please, and to live as we please as long as that choice does not negatively affect the lives and welfare of those around us.
Therefore, I say, viva liberation, hurrah for freedom and keep fighting for what is right. I agree that a civil war would not be a good thing, however, if that were what it takes to prevent the perversion of the Federal powers from taking over all of our rights than so be it. I would temper this by saying we must vote in such a way as to relieve the undue and unjust burdens being placed upon our children and us by a perverted and unjust government.
Understand this, if it came to that which is irreversible, I hope that those who decide upon this course of action are able to do so with the idea that we must have freedom which so many American men and women have died to protect and that we do not approach the thought of civil war or revolution against an unjust government is for reasons of personal gain.
In conclusion, please understand that I am a supporter of the general rights and equality of all Americans, and that I shudder to think what would happen if our government forces a bloody decision upon us. Please think about every decision, and vote â vote to preserve the Union, yet do not hesitate to change that which guides this union of great States if it is necessary.

Colonel, the first President Bush used a phrase you find sinister, and you assume he meant the same by it that you would've. Why is that? I don't remember the speech, so I don't remember the context, but I'm willing to bet he didn't flat out announce the beginning of a world government takeover of the United States government.
And, while we're on the subject... except for scale, what's the difference between a government of 50 unified states and a government of 150 unified 'countries?' Whay does the idea frighten you so badly?
And as far as the Constitution...well Bush did more to destroy those rights than anyone. Power hungry and a liar (remember the WMD?) he took our country down a dangerous path and gave us $5 trillion in national debt.
I think Bush was one of the worst true and I blame Obama, the constitutional scholar, for not correcting that. Most of those violations could have been corrected with a stroke of the pen or just advocating the correction. He has done nothing, that's my biggest gripe about him.
I am going to point out just one truth: Democracy is not a spectator's government. You only have so much time! I only have so much time! From my experience in participating to make my town and community a better place I have found that I was able to get more done locally and at the federal level and I was able to keep a better eye on government at the local and at the Federal. Understand you can get rid of an elected official easier than a greedy CEO/CFO until Wall Street realizes that they are now in competition with Asian and European Markets and they must provide a similar level of investor safeties that other countries have. I hope that happens before our markets get the reputation of "Wild West." buyers beware! Obama message is: “We will make the changes.” Why because of all that debt is bought where? From our high savings rate? The middleclass has been drained by the Greedy Men! The world invests with US my dear Cornel George. Whether you or I like it Wall Street has made a One World Government a reality!!!! If you don’t want one world government than quit belly aching and pay higher taxes and allow your Federal Governmnet to start breaking up these big internation Combinations!!!! (We'll see that happen when Hell freezes over) Adman and special interests will make sure that doesn't happen and some folks will listen and instead of changing the problem because we are not talking and working together the Greedy men will still do as they pleased! And if you want to keep the US more independent, then have the rich pay theirs too. Demand creates Supply not the other way around! Rich should get tax breaks because their, “the job creators!” What a lie there!!! No, Cornel George the middleclass and small and middl size businesses are the real job creators. You do not need standing armies to be conquered dear, I think you are barking up the wrong tree. Now the president wants manufacturing and job back in this country, he understand how vulnerable we are economically.
Reason why he needs support to do what he has to do now.The people really do not understand, our strenght is not from the military or the wealth, is the unity as a people.

I will be happy to pay a higher tax to provide health insurance for everyone, but would also like to get loans for my business as cheap as the banks get from the federal reserve.
It is no what we pay for services to the people as much as what they steal from interest and other means. Focusing on spending all this years has clouded the issue about who the robber barons are.
As far as the congress bills etc, why do we pay them so much?
Why do we give subsidies to farm?
If we want the real free enterprise business then we should stop spending tax money for people to do nothing or worse.

Who grew or tripled the government jobs in the last 40 years?
Why do we keep bases everywhere in the world and who created this unconstitutional set up, who are the warmongers among us?
I say you need really to read the budgets for the last 60 years to understand how much wealth has changed hands, especially contractors for the weapons of mass destruction we are always building. The money we spend on arms and war can build another country.
We have stood by and allowed the man with the money to buy his way to power. We need people to get up off their lazy butts and get involved. "That's all I have to say about that."
