Before the election of Obama we heard a lot about several things but since then there seems to be nothing said about what really bothered a lot of people.
One of several things we don’t hear much about is the NAFTA SUPER HIGHWAY’
Here is what SPP has to say about it today in their mission statement.
- Improve the safety and efficiency of North America's transportation system by expanding market access, facilitating multimodal corridors, reducing congestion, and alleviating bottlenecks at the border that inhibit growth and threaten our quality of life (e.g., expand air services agreements, increase airspace capacity, initiate an Aviation Safety Agreement process, pursue smart border information technology initiatives, ensure compatibility of regulations and standards in areas such as statistics, motor carrier and rail safety, and working with responsible jurisdictions, develop mechanisms for enhanced road infrastructure planning, including an inventory of border transportation infrastructure in major corridors and public-private financing instruments for border projects).
Please take note of “facilitating multimodal corridors” Then read what they say in their myths and answers, also “an inventory of border transportation infrastructure in major corridors.”
Myth: The U.S. Government, working though the SPP, has a secret plan to build a "NAFTA Super Highway."
Fact: The U.S. government is not planning a NAFTA Super Highway. The U.S. government does not have the authority to designate any highway as a NAFTA Super Highway, nor has it sought such authority, nor is it planning to seek such authority. There are private and state level interests planning highway projects which they themselves describe as "NAFTA Corridors," but these are not Federally-driven initiatives, and they are not a part of the SPP
Yep there is no NAFTA Super Highway. It is a Multimodal Corridor.
I haven’t found anything about NAU in particular that is current. I wonder why. Is it a done deal or has it been abandoned?
I can find nothing much about the AMERO but no one in the places I looked rejects an international medium of exchange between the US, Canada, and Mexico. They just clam there is no such thing as and AMERO. Another thing the just changed the name? Nothing current about it. I wonder why.
Nothing new about Blackwater or the Halliburton internment camps scattered around the country. Nothing at all that is new. Are they still there? I saw pictures of one in Wyoming and another in California. I wonder why.
Nothing new about the military bases Blackwater was establishing on every coast of the nation.
I wonder why.
No people ranting about the illegal wiretaps any more,
No one complaining about the Homegrown Terrorist Act.
No one mentioning the oppressive Patriot Act.
No one complaining about the president having the power to declare martial law for no reason at all.
No one complaining about Homeland Security being able and actually arresting people, not charging them and holding them without a trial for as long as they wish.
All these things and more put into effect during the Bush years and extended into the Obama administration. Before Obama it was a big worry. What happened? Why? How? They all still exist.
They are all still out there but hiding in the dark now with no one shining a light on them.

I laugh every time I think about the Patriot Act being such a bug-a-boo but NOT being changed by a LINE by the new admin...
power of any kind is never surrendered easily.
The paragraph about the Multimodal Corridor had me rofl. Whoever wrote it must have a degree in gobbledygook and access to a thesaurus. I'm guessing the gist of it is let's throw more tax dollars at special interest groups by confounding the taxpayers.
I once had links in an article I posted in 2006 about the North American Union and SPP (Security & Prosperity Partnership).
None of the links work now. One link was a document detailing the plan and was quite shocking.
There was a news item last year, 2008, that Mexico was to begin the port on the west coast of Mexico. ( Yes this would put our Washington, Oregon, Los Angeles ports out of business, Mexican drivers will then use US taxpayer built Highways Oh, Multimodal Corridor, to send goods to Canada.
Col, you are a Libertarian, you must love this plan, cheap labor, max profits. security supplied by the U.S. taxpayer. No jobs for U. S. Citizens.
One of the provisions of the SPP was the "freedom" of workers to move freely accross borders to where the jobs were. How many Canadian and U. S. workers do you think will rush down to Mexico?
The only detention camps I have read about from legitimate news sources were for illegal immigrants.
Detention camps for citizens? Military bases? Where?
The war, the original war on terrorism in Afghanistan is still on, and the Iraq war continues. It would be very stupid to dismantle all of the anti-terror laws. Some changes have been made, just by no action.
Kind of like when Bush refused to act on illegal immigrants and the companies that employed them.
Doing nothing is sometimes how things are done.
U. S. Rich got cheap maids, nannies and gardners, Chicken and the meat packers and many other companies got masses of dirt cheap labor.
Illegals have nearly taken over the construction trades in several states. That needs to be stopped mainly because they do lousey work as well as being illegal.
Those anti-terror laws have nothing at all to do with Afghanistan or Iraq. Neither of those countries did a thing to the US in the way of terrorism. Those laws are only for control of us and have nothing to do with terrorism.
Oh, I truly have some Libertarian leanings but no I'm not a Libertarian. I'm a Rebublican because I had to join them to vote for Ron Paul.
And perhaps, it's because more people trust Obama to be honest and forthright, not secretive and dishonest like the previous administration.
Mmm.... He's pretty much on Bush's schedule irt closing Gitmo (in other words, the reason bush didn't close it was because he knew what a nightmare it would be to try to figure out where to put those guys). He's finally, hopefully, gotten a taste of who the Iranian government really is, and the economy? Misjudged, mismanaged, and worse then he thought. Like a little boy finally being allowed to shave who finds out it ain't all he thought it was cracked up to be.
He has an agenda and when he's finished shoving that through ... he'll get to the rest of this stuff. You won't know the US when he's done with her. We'll have multimodal corridors going every which way, open borders, and illegals won't be illegal anymore because our sovereignty will be a thing of the past. +sigh+
OH.. yeah... we have what could be an "interment" camp here. It's an ecological repair of an old oil refinery. Wierd thing is the fence.... the angled barbed wire tops... are on the INSIDE. What? Keeping the pollution IN? I'd think it would have been placed at an angle on the outside, like most fences meant to keep people out are made. I dunno... too many plots and scenarios all over the place and suddenly not much talk about any of them.
More smoke and mirrors? Time will tell, eh?
That does sound like the description i've heard of "internment" camps.
Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, even Cheny admitted that on national tv.
But we are there now, it is a horrible mess, more people have been killed than all the years of Saddam H. .
Personally it would be ok with me if Obama says, ok you'all can kill each other, we are GONE, and said it tomorrow.
So does the other Dale think we should invade Iran?
Or just tell Israel to bomb them.
China loves N.Korea, lovely distraction for their activities in Africa and some of the southern asian nations. Plus I think China loves seeing Japan tormented by the N. Koreans. No love lost to Japanese by the Chinese.
I still don't believe that was a terrorist attack. It looked more like a demolition job to me.
The only conspiracy theory that counts covers them all.
The very rich and very powerful are determined to turn everyone else, into their servants; we must all expend our lives in the pursuit of productivity that will make them richer. That means most will have to stay poor, a few will be groomed for their proper place in the middle class.
Globalization of the economy meant globalization of the work force. Wages worldwide must be kept low, wages must be lowered in UK, USA, Europe, Canada. Because Japan will not import foreign laborers in sufficient numbers the capitalists now ignore them.
Their economy will never grow (consume) at rates attractive to them, there will be very limited cheap labor there.
For a few brief decades after WWII, ordinary people made some economic and political progress.
In the U. S. Nixon(You do know Bill Buckley was one of the great minds behind all this) lead the charge against all the working class trash able to send their children off to college and go foul up the good vacation spots, and refuse to work as maids and gardeners for next to nothing.
I remember reading articles in up-market periodicals where the rich were whining about not being able to find cheap maids and gardeners and nannies. And, there were all these working people on their ski slopes, and at their favorite summer resorts, even in Europe. Poor darlings.
Not too different from some of the recent articles decrying that the rich have lost more than the working people (oops, middle class). Do you feel sorry for them?
Never mind that Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, very working class stores are the largest retailers in the U. S., we are told that the rich keep the economy going.
Yet it is the rich who are now busy saving every dime they can. No one poor (Middle class) is saving; they are losing their homes, going bankrupt, defaulting on all their debts.
Shocking to me is that the working class sold out their own economic well being for racism/religion.
Of course by the time Regan ran, they simply called the working class the middle class.
Have you noticed, pay has diminished to nothing, but everyone is middle class now?
I laugh with great bitterness when I hear a waitress call herself middle class. Joe the Plumber thinks he is a successful entrepreneur, and that the liberals, are going to get the money he does not have, he doesn't even know why he will never succeed, but he will blame it on liberals.
England was a bit behind; their charge was led by Iron Lady Thatcher.
Canada and the European nations have done the same, the methods are not as harsh as in the U. S. right now, but all of Europe and Canada has been busy welcoming the cheap subservient laborers. Europe is now a Muslim continent, no one there who is rich cares.
No conspiracy theory, just the plan by the richest to stay as such, be damned the people and the planet.
