It is debate time again in New Hampshire, and although I like it, there are some people who think it is too much too soon.
After all, this is the second round of debates in the Granite State since the start of June.
And the election is still more than a year away.
In fact, it is fourteen months away.
Don't worry, there will be at least one more NH debate.
Well, on second thought, maybe you should worry.
I would hate to see the holiday season sponsored by some candidate.
And just think what next summer might bring.
If you are not a New Hampshire resident, please be advised that the debates will be coming to your state sooner than you think.
Oh my.
And those ads!
I think vacations in Europe and other places may just catch on again.
As I said, I enjoy the debates.
All of them.
I love politics.
I also know that many others out there do not share my views.
So I write this with everyone in mind.
By the way, Ron Paul won this GOP debate.
He made the other candidates face the issue of war, which, by the way, is not a popular topic with the GOP.
The Republican Party needs a dose of reality, and Paul gave it to them.
Things will get hotter.
Do you care?

I also do not see how it can have anything be a negative effect on the job performance of candidates who currently hold public office or have other job responsibilities.
There has to be both a better way of campaigning and the media covering it but what those ways may be I am at a loss to suggest at the moment.
all the places that money could be usefully spent. I get really high blood pressure. As a Nation we need to wake up, we're practically at the bottom of a large downhill slide.
This isolationist attitude seems to discount that this situation evolved as a by product of World War II.
If he is such a history major, he should know better.
The United States inherited policeman of the world status because we are a fair and just nation.
That is just the way it is , like it or not. The biggest and the best are always the target of those who have their own agendas.
By Ron Paul's standards, the United States would pack up and leave every place it has a military presence. What would happen to the world if we did just that?
How long before the North Koreans invade the South, how long before China takes back Taiwan. How many Eastern European countries are "reclaimed" by the former Soviet Union....
It all sounds great until you have to start thinking like a grownup in real terms.
I like a few things Ron Paul has to say but to get rid of the CIA and FBI and whatever else he said we should get rid of is far out there and will leave our country unprotected!

I don't like paying taxes like everyone else doesn't like paying taxes, but even if we were to drop the income tax and went to another tax system, we would still need the IRS to perform some level of function.
Get rid of the FBI? CIA? How about not passing laws that prohibit the sharing of information between the two agencies that have very different missions. Maybe then we could have had the FBI become aware of suspicious activities going on outside the country.
Ron Paul has made comments that sound so good to those who want to hear them, but in the real world will never happen and in some cases would be a disaster if they did.
Have your fun while you can, when we get to show time the real players will be on center stage.
Getting back to Fred, he seems a sincere man, I just don't think he is qualified, he hasn't had the duties of running a state or a city.
As far as Rudy goes, being Mayor of NYC is almost like being the President of a small country in its self.
Don't think so? Then you haven't actually been to NYC have you.
