Today we ventured to Disney's Hollywood Studios, formerly known as MGM Studios. I am still not quite sure why they changed the name...I still call it MGM Studios. We had a blast, but I have to admit that I am completely exhausted. The kids had a great time, as well as my mother. We did a ton of the rides, saw some great shows, and did a character meal at the Hollywood and Vine restaurant. I love those character meals, but gosh are they pricey, which is why we only schedule 3 or 4 of them each time we come down this way.
I would have to say that my favorite ride in this park is the Rockin Rollercoaster, featuring Aerosmith. I normally don't do many rollercoasters, but this one is inside in the dark, so I can tolerate it better.
At 8:30, we saw the "Fantasmic" show. For anyone who has not seen this show, it is completely amazing. It always brings tears to my eyes because I just love all the characters and the music. AMAZING. I could watch this show everyday of my life and never tire of it.
The magic of the Disney parks just never ceases to amaze me. I feel the magic the minute we pull into the parking lot. Call me crazy or childish, but I just love this place.
