We finally have some good snow! photo essay!

Well it actually snowed today and quite a bit for us! We have snow drift close to 5 feet.. Not quite that much on level ground but hey its a good snow for us here in central Oklahoma.  Many schools including my daughters let out early today so I went to pick her and my neices and nephew up. Heres some pics of the trip to town.

 

THIS IS A SNOW DRIFT  RIGHT NEXT TO OUR HOUSE.

 

THE ROADS WERE REALLY BAD AND YOU CANT SEE THE YELLOW LINES AT THIS POINT.

 

SHE JUMPED IN THE SNOW DRIFT WHICH WAS HUGE! IT WOULD HAVE BURIED HER IF SHE WENT FURTHER INTO IT ;)

yeah the snow bank was huge!!

Glad you all are enjoiny it.. I know we are.. tomorrow we will be.. "well my husband and kids" will be riding 4 wheelers out there.. thye have so much fun doing that!

looks like she was having fun! We don't really get too much snow here most of the time. I guess it's too cold! I've heard that technically it's never too cold to snow, but you aren't going to get as much when it's as cold as it is here right now.

We didn't get too much here in the city... I was worried about it when Gary England and the other guy were both working this morning... I figured the school and preschool would let out early, so I kept the kids home... I wouldn't have been able to take off work to go get them... Then of course I lost phone and internet this morning... So I had a great day with the kids at home!!!

We are suppose to get a lot of snow by midnight tonight as well. Hope hubby makes it home from work okay. Looks like the kids had fun in the snow.
