Lets Talk About the Weather!

Good morning Gather! Well looks like somewhat of a warming trend today with highs heading for the 30s. We may do a little thawing if it hits that high. We had a dense fog here yesterday morning which left a beautiful hoar frost icing on every thing it touched. All the trees were given a white flocked look to them, but it disappeared quickly once the sun came out. Pretty dry forecast for this area with a few exceptions. They say slight possibility of snow on Wed. & Friday; but nothing major expected. Temp. here right now is 6 degrees.

At my house we ended with about 13 inches of snow. It looks it is all for now. It was 11 when i got up at 5 but now it is about 7. I am hoping it warms up today because our fuel bill is through the roof this year.

We caught the tail end of the system that hit the Northeast yesterday. It brought rain and wind. The wind ended late yesterday. Right now it's 28 degrees. We're supposed to hit 50 for a high though.

It's 18 (w/the wind chill) here in Georgia today....I WANT SNOW. It's hard to get in the Christmas spirit with no snow.

17 degrees with wind chill around ZERO. Ice everywhere after snow, sleet and rain yesterday. Sun is up!

Cold and very windy today in the mid 40's. Warming up over the next few days though.

Monterey Peninsula, Central Coast California. RAIN, SWEET RAIN!!! SOOOO desperately need! Pretty chilly, too. We had frost Friday morning, very high seas last week (the kind of waves that kill) and strong wind last night. Yup, it's winter!
