If we all were to meet on a lonely winter day, would we greet with smiles and kind words

Or would we greet with frowns and apprehension because that is what we do when we meet a stranger

Think of time you met your best friend was he/she a perfect stranger

Do not overlook the opportunity to meet your newest best friend

If you smile and greet with kind words those new to you, the reward could be a lifetime of joy

Think of this through the holiday season and you can receive the greatest gift of all a New Friend

Marrianne, I am the same way. I tried this once in New York City and everyone I smiles at smiled back. They say people there are unfriendly and never smile. The truth is, no one wants to be the first to start.
