My aunt died last February of a terrible disease. One that could have been prevented had her family never had to rely on the mining industry. Not to long before her impending death, she watched her brother die of the exact same disease. Can you imagine how terrible it was to watch and take care of someone that had the same exact disease as you?
Since these senseless deaths, I have done more and more research on this terrible disease and it makes me sick. These were good people, people who were only children when they were exposed to the chemicals that would later cause their early deaths.
I hope if you get time, you will read an article about this rare disease. As rare as it is, we have watched several community members pass and the sad thing is that we don't have an Erin Brokavich here....Let me know what you think !

I knew that exposure to asbestos was bad but never heard of this disease.
