It was a perfect fall day in my neighborhood. The sun was shining and it was 73. The sky was a beautiful cloudless blue. I took a walk and had my digital camera along. I got some nice fall color pictures.
Busy shopping for a growing boy....My 14 year old informed me all he has is 2 pair of torn camoflage pants, ther rest don't fit anymore. Then new shirts and sweat shirts. Got out of Wal-Mart for under $150. and got quite a bit! yes! Then went to Christopher and bAnks and got a cool sweater for me.
I'ts quiet here now, boys are down the street watching their favorite show with their friends, hubby's working, so it's me and the dog on the computer, listening to "hitch" on TNT.
Kathleen. He is at that growing stage and the clothes keep getting more expensive. At least he isn't a clothes snob and will wear Walmart's perfectly good clothes.

Hi Audrey! I would love some decaf and cookies! Hi everyone! It was a beautiful day here in west central WI too. Sunny and mid 60's until about 5pm then the clouds rolled in once again. I went to an apple orchard and enjoyed the beautiful colors and of course a fresh honey gold apple, yum!
Some of the stuff you can't tell from Ambercrombie! He got a cool hoodie that has a video game character on it...looks expensive! My youngest is wanting an iPod and won't take any other brand...he's my expensive boy! Zack is easy going!
My Saturday was busy but not too bad. We took the kids out to Red Lobster for lunch, did some shopping and went to the pumpkin patch. Having a few quiet moments now, for a change!
I'm jealous about your new laptop...we're in the market for a new computer and hubby wont even talk aboiut a laptop! :( I want one so bad I can taste it!
Kathleen, I went to WalMart today too and stocked up on things like shampoo, cereal, coffee:). I got all I went in for and used $5 worth of coupons and walked out having spent just $40! Then to reward myself I went to Hallmark and bought some Christmas things;).
when i was younger, I went to a Catholic school, so I had uniforms (still won't wear plaid) and my grandma sewed my good and Sunday clothes. Didn't have many clothes til we moved to Michigan and we got to go to public school.
Becuse you ask me I am here "Sensational Sadie Sexy Senior Sitizen" Audrey, but I can't stay. Too many things on my plate to just visit. You do make good cookies. If you don't mind I'll just snitch a couple to munch on as i write.

zack went to a little catholic school last year (he needed it) and had to wear polos (white or burgundy) and either black or grey dress pants with black shoes. He didn't complain...now he won't touch those clothes to wear to church ...I understand, tho!
Susan, how do you like the box thing - that serves as a mouse. I can't get used to that. So I'm trying to train myself to do as much as possible with the keyboard. It's slow going. But I do love the laptop!
Susan, sounds great! I can't wait to update this antiquated computer...it's a 2000, with Windows 98, on dial up...slow as molasses. Tina, NH must be beautiful this time of year...drove thru last summer...LOVED IT!
I still hope to get to New ENgland for the fall color someday. I was scheduled to go right after 9/11 and my gf wouldn't travel so we canceled our tour.
I would like to go to New England some fall too. I'd especially like to go to Maine, my grandfather was from there and I'd like to see it for myself. Does anyone remember photo slides?? Thats what we would do on a Saturday night when I was a kid. Mom would make popcorn and Kool Aid and we'd look at family slides and my Dad's slides from when he was in the Navy.
NH and Vermont are green and hilly! After driving thru the western part of the US in 2004 and the Eastern in 2006, I told Max he'd go to college in VT?NH to go skiing, and zack could go to AZ or NM for the warmth, then we'd visit! Out of state colleges are cheaper than in-state in MI!

I was able to keep my kids happy with clothes from JC Penney and the ones I made. I was a good seamstress thank heavens.
