A New Appreciation

I recently purchased a digital camera. I had wanted one for awhile but never really had the money for it.  This year my in-laws gave me some money for my birthday and I added a bit more and bought my first digital camera.  It was not love at first sight.  I couldn't get the hang of it.  I couldn't down load the pictures to my computer and it ate batteries.  But things got better, I bought rechargable batteries, and I realized I hadn't properly downloaded the program to my computer. 

WOW.  Now whole new possabilites opened up for me.  I could actually make this thing work.  BUT then suddenly I was stumped.  What was I going to photogragh???? 

 I am not in any way a professional photographer.  I am a stay at home mom.  My husband would prefer I not post a lot of pictures of our kids on- line because of predators.  I said I wouldn't but that left me with a lack of things to post to gather.  HUMMMMMM.  I really wanted to be more of a part of things here, but I was stumped. 

Then at my daughters bus stop I was hit by inspiration.  I live in a beautiful area.  Mountains, rivers, beautiful rocks, wild flowers, and trees.  These I could photograph!!!  I had forgotten how beautiful the place I live really is.  It took a new camera and gather to make me apprecitate it all over again.
