I’ve always been a fan of writing down my hopes and dreams for the future. I firmly believe that taking the time to put your goals into words is a huge step towards making those dreams a reality. Well as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and The Vision Board, by Joyce Schwarz, really brings this to light. In the book you will find several exercises that will help you write your vision statement. You’ll also do things to help you realize what your true wants are – they may not be what you think!
From there you can create your vision board – a combination of pictures and phrases that define who you are and where you see yourself going. This board will constantly remind you of your goals so you can practice GRABS:
Gratitude
Release and Receive
Acknowledge and Ask
Be and Believe
Share
I’ll be creating a vision board sometime before the new year, and I look forward to sharing it with you!
