Written by Mark "Dr. Tea" Ukra, The Ultimate Tea Diet is quite possibly one of the most interesting and informative weight loss books that I have ever read. You can trust me when I say that I have read many books on this particular topic and none grabbed me in the exact same way.
Ukra is sure to note many times in the book that he indeed is not a doctor. I like the honesty. Instead, he is a man with an easy plan that absolutely anyone could follow. Basically, you eat healthier foods, exercise in moderation, and drink (or eat) lots of tea. It really isn't hard to follow even when he gets into the science of why tea assists with your weight loss goals as well as with energy boosting and clearing of the mind.
There on no restrictions on the type of tea you will be drinking. It makes no difference if it is hot or iced and it doesn't matter if you use tea bags or brew from loose tea. You can drink the least expensive brands or the most gourmet teas in the world. However, what does matter is that it is "true" tea. Believe it or not, all products identified as being tea, are not necessarily tea. I think that was one of the biggest things I learned. "True" tea must be made from one of four kinds of tea leaves; black, green, white, or oolong. If it is not one of the first ingredients on your tea, then it is not really tea. Go ahead, stop reading and run to the kitchen, I did and low and behold, several of my "TEAS" had either no tea in them or it was one of the last ingredients.
Also included in the approximately 300 page book are recipes using tea as a main ingredient, tea websites, and the history of tea. All of which is very interesting in and of itself.
I read The Ultimate Tea Diet from cover to cover and enjoyed every single page of it. It was written in a down to earth language about a product that everyone can afford. The health benefits of tea are absolutely amazing. I find myself drinking more tea these days and even venturing outside my normal flavors. So, if you'd like to "boost your metabolism, shrink your appetite, and kick-start remarkable weight loss" or if you just want to learn something new and interesting, then The Ultimate Tea Diet is the book for you. You will not be disappointed.

I plan on keeping my copy as a writers resource. It is packed with information with regards to tea. I plan on having a tea drinking character in my next play.
I did buy some White Plum tea today instead of Mountain Dew. For me that's massive, lol.
