I joined epinions just a few months back, and since they started there ten for ten promation, I have already racked up 30 dollars. This is just from December and January!! I am so excited!

I cashed out today, but there is still two weeks left in the ten for ten promotion. For every ten reviews you write, they will credit your account with ten dollars!!

To answer Dan's question -- I have done mostly travel articles for Epinions, which I've really enjoyed doing. It's been like taking a mini-vacation in my mind to revisit all the places I've written about. A great diversion for a cold, dreary, winter day. If you're doing it just for the money, there are certainly faster ways to earn more.

I haven't had any luck on Yuwie, and I don't really care for that site either. I don't know enough people to sign up under me, and it's all about referrals on Yuwie...plus I don't like bugging people to do stuff like that either.

I have to agree with Sherrie. I've written on Epinions off and on over the years. All told, I've earned a good bit, probably more than $2000, but if you annualize it, the sum is small. I don't think we participate in any of these sites for the money. We do it because we are compelled to share our experiences, either in words or images.

Nicole, did you wrote them all within a months time? The ten had to all be written in one month. (either ten in Jan., or in Dec.), also, they had to be rated at least 'somewhat helpful' as well.

I have heard good things about eopinions. My roomie is a member and I know that she has gotten a few checks over the past months from them. I may have to think about joining unless they go by household then I can just help her rack up her account. Keep up the good work!

I have been there since Jan of 2000 and it does take time to get Income share and now people are earning money faster and more of it with the 10 for 10 promos. It is a product review site so the idea is to write an enticing review on a product you own or place you visited etc so that visitors to that site will click on to buy that item and then you earn IS later. I have made 5k there over the years.
