Sometimes you have to log off and back on again or it just takes awhile. I've posted a lot today with no point change until I just logged back on a few minutes ago, so you should see those points eventually! :D

I know this sounds dumb but what are points,

Don't worry, the more people you get to know online, the faster your Gather freinds will add up and therefore the more comments you will get. Also...post articles and add connnections, start groups, etc. It'll get better. I've already received 4 - $25 Home Depot cards and I don't even have any groups.

I hope you reach your goal and beyond! I now have both of my daughters on Gather and they are on their way to making their own gift cards too! Gather is the Greatest Community on the net! I really love how the whole program works! Where else can you babble on in a comment and make points for a gift card? That's why I spend most of my days and nights right here on Gather! Before Gather in my life I actually had NO friends!. It's hard to keep friends while tending to your wife most of the day! But with Gather, I now have over 1000 friends and my Friend list is growing everyday! The more friends I have, the more comments I get on my articles and my photos. The more comments I get the more gift cards I get and the more happy I am! So far I have gotten 2 $50.00 gift cards for Home Depot! I have two gift cards coming to me in the mail for Borders too! One of the Border's gift cards is for a contest I won on Gather that I didn't know I had even won! I just got an email yesterday telling me that I had won and that I was getting the gift card in the mail!
