All to an end

My birthday has finally came to an end.  Well in 4 1/2 hours it will be an end.  Eric sure has out done himself this year making it special.  I think it really helped me get through it. 

Sure few things still shed  a few tears, and the unexpected lost of a friends husband has added to the pain.  Goes to show as I said June sucks and it is official.

Now back to my birthday!  I turned 41 years old today.  Was born in Herrin IL and a grandpa's girl from day one.  As long as I could remember till the day I was moved away from y grandfather I always remember sharing his birthday, June 25th, and my birthday, June 29th.  We always had coconut creme pie making it my favorite pie just like his. 

This was the first year in a long time that I remember having a coconut creme pie on my birthday.  It did bring a few tears, but I enjoyed it as well. 

My day today started out with my two special guys joining me in bed with cards they both made me.  Yes Eric made his own card as well which I thought was really sweet.

Here is inside, he made daddy draw a blue's clue not sure what the rest was all he said was blue clue

Then on the back he had to have dad draw Steve.  I never knew that guys name was Steve on Blue Clue till today. 

Here is Eric's card to me, wonder if he realizes when he has only one wife that makes you the best automatically? lol

 He wrote on the inside "Roses are red violets are blue.  There is no one sweeter than you when I met you I knew we would spend many years together and be together forever."

For supper he then made me a taco dinner.  Yes those are a huge bottle of jalapeños.  I eat them on almost everything even scrambled eggs.

And then here came the best part! My coconut creme pie! He said he felt bad it was frozen but I thought it was just as good and just as sweet of him.  James kept calling it my butter cake lol

I have to say this has been the best Birthday ever.  First the zoo on Friday, then my bestfriend came over for a dinner on Sunday, then this today.
