As some of you know i am gonna go on vacation to Germany tomorrow, anyways MIL picked up the little one yesterday so i could pack and get everything ready for the trip.
thats what i did i cleaned my house, got a haircut, packed my stuff, did laundry and so on...
MIL was suppossed to bring the little one at 4pm today, now she just called and said the little one does not want to come home!!!!! AHHHHH! She cries and keeps saying : "stay Grandma's house"
whats going on? Now i am all worried... why does she not want to come home?
then MIL suggested to just let her spend the night again, and then we all would meet at the Airport in the morning... but i dont feel comfortable doing this..... oh my

MIL has super powers, of this I am convinced...Mine called and told me she plans to stay at her granny's for 2yrs...When she was little, we lived with the inlaws, just imagine that...I agree, I'd go get her.

I think it would be easier to get to the airport with your daughter with you. I would just explain it that way to MIL and have her bring your daughter home.
i would worry MIL would not make it in time, and the little one does not have any clothes to wear.... i really should go get her...

Yep, go get her. Grandmas are really nice and they pay extra special attention to grandchildren, but the grandchildren do have to go home. Go get her. She'll cry for a while, but not for long, she knows you love her too and also the most.
If you go get her you can console and explain why you need her with you right now. Can you imagine the commotion she will cause at the airport? By morning she'll be over it, I hope.

She's a toddler, happy playing where she is. There will be days she won't want to go with Grandma, too.
