She's fourteen enough said. She gets in the car after school today. She's red faced, and tells me her teacher is in trouble. What did he do? He told her to be quiet while everyone else was talking. She told him, "Whatever."
She got sent out to the hall. The bell rang, and she left and came out to the car to tell me. I told her to march herself back in there and apologize immediately.
She said, "But Mom."
She went in, and came out with a big smile on her face. He accepted her apology, and admitted she was not the only one talking. He said, "Sometimes, I just get nervous." They both smiled and off she went to the car the second time with an attitude adjustment.

What a great idea; though I would have had to walk mine back in to make sure she did what she was sent for.
Blessings
My daughter has started this thing where she feels I'm being unfair or gets angry and refuses to talk to me about it. We finally came to a head with it, and made an agreement. If she feels this way, I will give her 20 minutes of alone time to get her head together, but then after that 20 minutes she must speak with me.
I also told her if she feels like she's being unfair, I want her to express this as long as it's done respectfully. It's a relief!
Apologizing is the best thing for your daughter
