A few days ago I asked many of you for prayers for our dear friend Dwayne. He had cancer of the liver diagnoised in June. He passed away this morning at 10:31 a.m. Thank all of you who sent him cards of love and encouragement. They were very welcome and made him feel loved. Dwayne passed away one month and one day before his 52nd birthday. He would have been 52 Sept. 23. Our family is in mourning for a very dear and close friend who was as a brother to us.
Please keep his daughter Abigail, His sister Robin, Son Josh and Mother Dolores in prayer. They are grieving and hurting. But they know it is God's will. Still it is very hard to lose someone who has been a vibarant and vital part of your life. Dolores is struggling of having out lived one of her two children. Her only son. His sister Robin baptized only six months ago with the loss of her brother. His daughter Abigail baptized a year ago come October is dealing with losing her dad and her brother Josh baptized only 2 months ago is having a hard time.
If you want to write or send condolences to the family send to Dolores Welch. 668 S. Essex Drive #2, Post Falls, ID. 83854.
It meant a great deal to them all to get letters and cards from some of you for Dwayne. He was very uplifted by them in the few short weeks he had to live.
Dwayne was a very kind, loving and generous man, he loved with his whole heart and he did not condemn or judge people but accepted them for who or what they were unconditionally. He was a veteran and served his country during the Viet Nam War. He was a great dad and has a daughter and son and six grandchildren he leaves behind. As well as his sister Robin and Mother Dolores. Rest in Peace Dwayne. God keep you until we meet again in that other realm where you have gone.
