Would someone PLEASE tell Winter it's time to retire?

Yesterday was the first day of Spring right?    Did I miss something.   And some of you have had spring and signs of spring for a few weeks.    So what happened? 

 Did I go to bed and sleep through three seasons and miss them all?    Because when I woke up this morning  it was snowing.  It had snowed all night long.  

There was 6 new inches of fresh snow on the ground.  ARRRGH!    This is like really getting to me.   Hello it is almost April and winter refuses to leave where I am.   No flowers,  no song birds,  Piles of old snow and it has been snowing ALL DAY LONG we have a whole new foot of snow on top of 2.5 feet of old snow.   What happened to Spring? 

 Would someone please tell Old man winter to go  to bed for three seasons it is well past time for him to retire and let spring come out to play and weave her magic.        Winter has been around since before Thanksgiving way back in early November.   Nearly six months ago.   Usually we only get 3-4 months of winter.    

So I am thoroughly sick of winter and want some spring sunshine and warm weather any time now would be good and would like to see her stay around awhile.    "Cause it is still snowing and looks like it plans to stay.
