Jack Stones, Jax or Jacks

I was going through a box today. Yes, I'm still going through stuff that's been packed up for a while. I found a little box that I remembered quiet well.

The little pointed things with a ball.

I remember how to play most of the game. Starting with ones, then twos and so on, until you get to tens.

Then there are things like around the world, in the basket, over the fence and so on and so on.

Does anyone remember the order and how each one is played?

Please help - I really want to get my kids into this.

You can search the rules out on the Internet. I used to like to play that as well but I can't remember the rules.

Gosh, it's been such a long time since I played that. Toni had the best suggestion to search the Internet for the rules. It would make a neat article when you find out.

i don't think we ever knew official rules, we just tried to bounce the ball & pick up as many jax as possible.

Oh, what a pleasant memory you triggered. It has been sooooo long since I last played jax or even thought about it, but that little ball and those ten little jax provided hours of contented entertainment to this gal. Thanks for reminding me of simple pleasures.
