What are things that make you happy?

You know the little things,like a hobby,a sound,a place,what are they?

Of course their are too many for me to name or even think of at the moment but I'll name a few of mine: nice weather,friendly people,day trips,getting letters in the mail,getting emails,giving gifts,kisses and hugs from my daughter,hearing good news,having little get togethers,candy,ok The list could go on but I would like to hear yours.

Of coures the basics like life and family. I know it sounds shallow but shopping really does make me happy too. I love to buy things for my friends and family.

getting a freebie in the mail; getting post cards; waking up to NO SPAM; doing something right the first time; a warm blanket; thunderstorms; a rich chocolate; deciding to switch back to an old purse, only to find 20 bucks inside; the money thing happening with last winter's coat; when dad saves the last cup of coffee for me; a new book; writing the first entry in a brand new journal; and so many more little blessings......

This is a great idea-it makes me feel good just to think about these things. My list includes: the smell of a newborn's head, the call of a loon (the bird, silly!), the sound of laughter, that special look in my hubby's eyes, the smell of pine/fir trees...the list gets longer everytime I try to pin it down-Yeah!!!!

loose shoes, a rugged mountain, a beautiful sunset, a spectacular sunrise, somewhere to wander, something to ponder ...
oh, in winter a heated outhouse is definitely a bonus!

My DH and I having found one another. Grandchildren; finding things to take pictures of; reading gather; gardening; riding around finding new places; great movies; good homecooked food; being outdoors; having good friends. More, but too many to list!
