Well today I turned 58 years young. The kids and grandkids all got many nice things for me. Some totally surprised me and very nice. The usually bubble bath and hair care products which I am forever running out of and can always use. The grandkids found sea shells and rocks they decorated up and gave me. Plus some great art work they did.
Went to church today and had a good time after at Fellowship hour. All the August birthdays were acknowledged there and because today was mine I was given several cards and a beautiful pendant necklace and some hand lotion and a cute little red teddy bear called cuddles.
We came home and some friends of our from church came to visit and brought me a whole bag of loot. LOL photo album, swan bell, candle and floral light scent. We had a nice dinner and cake and ice cream afterwards. OH my. The doctor is going to frown on me. It will be salads and vegies for the next two weeks. My swimming pool isn't up yet, took a bit more preperation than hubby thought so he hopes to have it up tomorrow aftenoon.
I am going to go lie down for about an hour and a half because we are all going to at 11:00 PDT sit on a high grassy knob of a hill and with telescopes and blankets on the ground watch the meteor shower expected tonight and have a midnight picnic.
My youngest son called and talked to me for about an hour on the phone and sent me a nice card as well. Have not heard from my oldest son. Did talk breifly to him earlier this week though.
We have been getting some answers from CPS on younger sons situation and things resolving there. Will know more next week on that how things will be and progress.
Well I will get off here for a bit and catch my nap which I did not get earlier since we had company. I need it because didn't get to sleep last night until 2:30 due to kids and grandkids and a movie we watched and the night before that I didn't get to sleep until 3:00 or rather did for a short hour then some wierdo called at 2:45 and hung up but not before he woke up two of the little kids here who had to be calmed down as they were having bad dreams. The phone ringing scared them or something. But I am having a really over all nice birthday
