Gathered Stars

Death reached out and touched us, leaving us in dispair,
Someone we love is suffering; we want them to know we care.

We extend the hand of friendship as we rally around,
Showing them the love of Gathering friends fully abounds.

When one of us hurts we all hurt too, when someone rejoices,
We raise our praise in happy voices.

We are all a family Gathered from near and far,
Dear friends each and everyone of you is a star.

Gather is our home, away from the daily grind,
Without Gather some of us might lose our minds.

Sitting in front of our 'puter screen, we reach out,
across the deep, when some of us are waking,
Others are retiring to sleep.

We are the stars of gatherland on our computers,
We will take our stand, reaching into cyber space;
All of us Gather's fans.
