Child and student, wife and Mother, chief cook and bottle washer, waitress, factory worker, pizza manager, bar tender, deli manager, gardener, artist, secretary, small business owner and traveler are just a few of the many faces I've put on over the years. The problem was, I never really knew who I was. After 57 years of exploring my world, the time finally came for me to stop asking "Who am I and what is my life all about?" Not that I'm finished exploring, mind you, but it's much easier when one knows what they are seeking.
After having spent the better part of my life raising five children and two husbands, while working at all those different jobs, I set out on this personal journey of discovery. Over the past seven years, after having also left organized religion, my search for meaning in life has taken me many places, both physically and spiritually.
The decision to step outside the box was not one I took on my own free will, but was literally handed to me via destiny, when my Great American Dream took a nosedive. This new journey of discovery began at the lowest point of my human existence when everything I thought was "me" just up and disappeared.
Feeling like a disgruntled sheep separated from the flock, I began to systematically review other religions, philosophy, and science. I became a seeker of that which I had been conditioned to believe was of every sort of evil. As I did this, I began to see patterns and similarities. Some of the things I learned jumped right off the page and screamed, "Aha."
In my darkest hours I found a new love for science and space, and I found a place in my heart for the beliefs of many other cultures. It wasn't until recently, though, that I began to put some of these pieces together. I came across a thing called Human Design. Deep within our DNA lies a hidden code, a blueprint, that determines who we are and what we can become. Human Design is not a religion or a science; it's a combination of modern genetic knowledge and ancient wisdom that integrates genetics with the energies of the human chakra system, the I-Ching book of changes, the astrological star system, and the Kabalistic tree of life.
It unravels the mystery of our basic human wiring in order to show us how we affect others, and are affected by them. Knowing where our energy flows, shows us our strong points, and gives us a strategy, so as to avoid getting off kilter. I have personally found it to be a great help in self realization and personal growth.
When a body graph is created, it gives each individual a personal look at their own mind, emotions, heart, intuition, plus the rhythms and patterns that govern a person's movement through life. It can help us realize our pressure points, and empower us with a strategy for living a more balanced life.
Each and every one of us is on a unique journey, and in order to traverse the course, we need to consult the owner's manual of our vehicle. As we come to understand how we operate on a personal level, we can begin to live the life we were designed to live. Most of us have been deeply conditioned by our environment, and this is the main reason we keep asking ourselves who we are, and don't feel as though we're living our true potential. Being conditioned is not a natural strategy.
Human Design gives us an opportunity for a profound transformation, by helping us to take an honest look at our behaviors, some of which we don't even realize exist. I can tell you that I have learned a lot about myself while studying this course. My "not-self" theme is frustration, and that happens when I refuse to wait to respond. I'm just not designed to be an initiator, so when I do it, all heck breaks loose, causing frustration. What I am designed to be is a generator, which makes me just another worker on the assembly line of life. It's where I am the most happy, and now that I know this, well, I'm much happier.
Over the next few weeks I will be creating a few articles on the basic structure of Human Design. And no, I didn't initiate this, a friend on Gather asked me to do it, so I am finally getting around to responding. I hope you will drop by and join us as we take this study course together. We will be studying the Human Design of Carl Jung. Below is his Body Graph.

Carl Gustav Jung
Born 7/26/1875 6:52 pm
Type : Generator
Profile: 2 / 4
Not Self Theme: Frustration
Strategy: To Respond
Definition: Split Definition
Authority: Emotional - Solar Plexus
Incarnation Cross: Right Angle Cross of The Unexpected (31/41 | 27/28)
What does all this mean? We'll be studying this together in order to find out.
In the meanwhile, and since I don't know your birth date, you can follow the link below to get your own personal body graph. Then click on "download chart" and have it emailed to you, so that you can have a look at it as we study together here in Earth School.
Get your Human Design Chart now.
Our first study course will cover the five types of human beings, and their strategy for life, including how to overcome your "not self" theme. Keep watching for more detail.

I'm not interested, thanks.
I'm very much looking forward to this series! Thank you.
I'm a "manifesting generator" - but since I can't get the sound on my computer to kick in, I don't know what that means.
I've got the frustration - respond thing, too.....
And like Jung I've got the "right angle cross of the unexpected" - and so what IS that?
lol -
We're all puzzles to ourselves and each other. Now where DID that missing piece go?
Please post this to my group Esoteric and Alternative Studies
Carolion, you are in the 32% group of the population, and I'm not surprised to learn you are a Manifesting Generator. That accounts for your desire to be all inclusive. We'll talk about it more in the next session.
Georgianna, you are in the 22% group of the population. You aren't here to be a worker, you are a guiding energy. You might be intered to know that our NEW President is also a Projector.
Rainy, Edgar Cayce is Generator with a 1/3 Triple Split Definition and Solar Plexus Authority. His incarnation is the Right Angle Cross of the Vessel of Love.
Rainy, which group do you want this posted to?
Aside from your dreams and grasp of science, I was especially taken by this phrase.
...raising five children and two husbands
Isn't that all too often the case... I mean, the wife/mother raising the husband, and yet, in this world, it is the husbands, who go off and become CEOs or other stereotypes of schmucks, who get the big compensation packages, whereas the *Mom*, who's work actually is the Most important on this planet, hardly gets a second glance...
Good for you. You go after your dream until it becomes real...
