If you haven't read my first article, go check it out.
So, I had to go to a psychiatrist. It was in the city and I hate driving in the city because people drive me crazy. So, my mother and my sister went with me, my mom drove. I went in to talk to the pysch. and we discussed how I had been feeling. He told me I was depressed, I told him I wasn't. I was having a lot of medical issues and yeah, I was a little distraught that no one could find out what was wrong with me. It was beginning to take a toll on me mentally, so I went to talk to someone about it. (This was the second person I had talked to.) So, he asked if I had a history of depression in my family and I told him I did. 2 of my aunts as well as both of my sisters. So, he said he wanted to bring in my mom and my sister to see they had noticed anything different about my attitude and personality lately and I told him that was fine. I made it a point to tell him NOT to say anything about my sister being on depression meds because she hadn't told my mother about it yet. (You have to understand, my mom is a worrier. She freaks out about things like that.) So, he wrote it down and said outloud, "Do not speak of medications in front of mother". So, my mom and my sister walked in, sat down, and the doctor said "So, I hear you're taking medication for depression"........Are you kidding me????????????
So, at that point, I stood up, told my mom and sister that we were leaving, and looked at the doctor and said "Thank you for making my visit a free one because if I get a bill in the mail or see that this visit was claimed on my insurance, I'll take you to court to have your license suspended due to doctor-patient priveleges." And we left.
What was that?? Really? The first words out of his mouth were the ones I told him not to say. And guess what!! My visit was free!!!!!!! Am I the only one that seems to get all these idiots???

I used to interview doctors about new drugs and you would be surprised at how weird some of them are.
