This is one of 3 cabins. They are out away from the main building. During regular camp time, the boys staff stay in these. During family camp there is one family on each side. Two great things about the cabins.....#1 Full size bathroom....#2 air conditioner! Notice our laundry hanging on the line to the side of the building?
Gymnasium
Playground area.
Sand volleyball court. It's been a rare occasion that I have actually seen volleyball played on the court. For the most part the kids build sand castles, using it as a huge sandbox.
"Mess Hall" This is where we are served 3 great meals each day, plus a bedtime snack too.
This is just part of the huge garden out at the camp. It's so awesome to be served fresh veggies, and some fruits while there.
My children happened to be relaxing out on the trampoline when I took this pic. They are also putting in another trampoline in the back of the camp by the sand volleyball court as well.
Tetherball on the veranda. The veranda is just outside the area where we eat, the ping pong room, and the chapel.
Something new this year. Tractor pulled chariot rides. They took all the old bicycles around camp and seats out of an old school bus to build the chariots. This was a lot of fun to ride around camp in.
The bridge that goes across the river over to the nature center. This bridge scared the living daylights out of me! Last year they added the boards going the opposite way. It still scares me to go across, but I do feel much safer.
Nature center across the river.
Top floor of the nature center houses hammocks all around, with mattresses on the floor. The middle level houses just one hammock and some chairs, I didn't take a picture of it.
Bottom floor of the nature center. It houses all kinds of creatures. In the pic, Jasmine is picking up a rat. There are snakes, turtles, rabbits, birds, rats, guinea pigs, mice, and other creatures.I hope you've enjoyed your 2nd tour of the Kansas Bible camp. More photo essays will follow. One showing the family olympics we did while at camp and another just showing our activities.

Great essay Thanks for sharing it.
To be served three meals a day, is very cool.
I love that the cabins have full size bathrooms. I would need that with two boys and my hubby.
