That you and I are far apart
What matters more is really how
We're still connecting heart to heart.

I know each evening my thoughts are
Of you and all you mean to me
And if you remember me from afar
Our hearts could never closer be.

We will meet again and know the touch
Of love that we knew once before
Until that day, our love is such
That we are as one heart forever more.
