Each day, I think of you,
And you do not know it,
I'd like to tell you how I feel,
But when I see you, I tremble,
And still you do not even see it,
Your estrangement makes me feel so sad that my heart cries out,
Why are all these women around you,
They tease you and kiss you, but to you they hardly exist,
And me no matter what I do, I am a prisoner of my heart,
I have only this poem to tell you that I love you.
Each night, I see you and touch you in my dreams,
Our bodies are embraced and are as one,
But in the morning, I awake and all that was between us goes away,
Why are all these women around you,
They tease you and kiss you, but to you they hardly exist,
And me no matter what I do, I am a prisoner of my heart,
I have only this poem to tell you that I love you.
I wish I could find enough courage to tell you that I love you,
To leave the shadows and face you,
But I know that I will not dare.
