If you haven't been by our website in a while, we recently updated our submission guidelines and announced two major projects for the 2007-2008 publishing year. The first project is a trio of speculative poetry chapbooks, A Quill Full of Shadows, A Quill Full of Stardust, and A Quill Full of Dragon's Blood. Each chapbook will have it's own theme of horror poetry, futuristic poetry, and fantasy poetry respectively.
The second project is designed to highlight the hidden gems produced by self-publishing authors in speculative fiction. We're looking for your previously published poetry, short stories, and first chapters from your own self-published works. A Bag of Gems will be sold throughout all of our normal outlets, including Amazon.com and mobipocket.com, and will be a wonderful way to highlight your speculative work. And more importantly, not only are we not charging a reading fee, but we are going to pay you $10 to let us reprint your work!
