Update on my family..

Well life is going well.. Kairi is 2 weeks and 5 days old. We went to dr. today for a check up and she weighs 8lbs and is still 20 1/2 in.  Has not really gained much but they said she looks good and she is nursing well so not to worry!  She is such a good baby! She normally eats every 3-4 hours.. at night she will occassionally go about 6 hours. She sometimes eats more frequently. Music makes her happy.. she just looks around and chills.. She is so cute when I change her clothes.. she just lays there like a big girl while I change her clothes.. she dont like her diaper changed much but its not too bad.. She Loves her swing.. sometimes she sleeps in it for some of the night cause she wont sleep in her bed.. My last 3 kids all liked to sleep in their swing and bouncer chairs too.. weird I know.

Brycen really loves his little sister.. hes doing great with her. He always goes up to her and says "you so cute"... He loves to hold her but I have to be careful.. one day when we got home I put her in my room on the floor.. she was asleep in her carseat... while I brought some things in from my van.. I only had one trip and when I got in I notcied Brycen standing in my room holding her... she was only like 5 days old at this point.. I did not yell because I did nto wnat him to drop her so I calmly got her from him.. I was so scared that it made me cry and I told him we do not do that because it could hurt her badly and me crying hhurt his feelings and he cryed so much cause he was so sad.. IM glad I did not spank him or anything.. My nerves were to struck to spank.. We just both got emotional.. which he has not done that again and he makes sure noone but mommy and daddy picks her up now :)

Blake.. The first week he done good with her.. he pretty much acted like she was not really even around.. Now he loves to hug her and kiss her.. I made sure to spend the whole week last week concentrated on him and his potty training.. Im glad I did because it worked! He wore undies today to the doctor and had NO accidents.. we were gone for 5 hours.. he went potty at the dr. I am so proud of him! He goes all by himself to and when he is done he brings me his undies to put back on him.. Its great to just have 1 in diapers.

Hali.. what a doll.. she is soo excited to have a baby sister.. she has a sister who just turned 1 at her dads but she wanted one here at our home where she is most of the time. She fights with Brycen alot but we have a new timeout system I just started and that seems to be helping quite a bit. She starts school in about a month.. she will be in 3rd grade.. wow!  She loves school... She loves to hold the baby.. but I limit that because then Brycen and Blake wana hold her too and well it gets the baby kinda fussy so I wait until one is in the bath and the other can hold Kairi the whole time and that works well.. She is also doing great with helping me.. I ahve her get the laundry out of dryer and put on my bed then put whats in washer into dryer for me.. Them lil things she does is soo helpful!

Brentt and I are doing great.. we  have been doing some extra shopping because at his job he is getting to be a temporary mechanic which mean he makes more money so we have been splurging lately.. God has sure blessed us this year! He works on elevators putting them in and stuff. Well I think that covers my lil family ;) Im so thankful for the life I now have and my 4 wonderful kids!
