Aaargh!!!!!! It's time for a intervention!!

My little person is driving me baddy he is getting into everything lately.  The DVD's, under the sink, the craft closet, the cans of cokes, the remote controls, the toys in my other child's room, the cabinets, he is throwing things in the bathtub and so much more.

I don't have any door knobs that work at my house so I'm trying to be clever but I can't figure out any way to get the doors to stay shut to make it where he can't get in.  I want to lock up the cabinets but I don't have any child locks and I don't have any hiding places cause he knows where everything is.

AAAAAAArrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!  I'm going nuts!!!!

It's time for locks and new knobs.  Time for Home Depot again.

He turns two in August.  We are just starting this stage of life and I'm already nuts.

Send me some love and make me smile.

So much fun.  Did I mention he rearranged the coke cans in the living room on the coffee table today too.  He also likes to play in the baby wipes.

hehe. *hugs* Just remember, the smarter they are, the more fits they give you now. It's a good thing!

The older of my two boys is 2 1/2, I feel your pain. ;) We just had to replace all the baby gates and buy new baby-proofing latches, the ones we had weren't cutting it. He's giving his dad conniptions by figuring out how to get in to mess with the Xbox, Wii, and DVD player.... it's an adventure!

My little one is almost 4 and he still gets into everything. The only bad part is that he has now mastered the child proof locks.

Oh, my life is full of adventure. My older son wasn't quite like this. I'm just trying to figure it all out. When I do I'll let you know.

Oh---I FEEL you pain girl. I feel your pain. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they can mess up a room (I just cleaned) in less than 3 minutes flat! I am glad it's spring because I will take them outside just so they won't get into everything in the house!
Sometimes I have to just LET THE HOUSE GO. Literally. I just wait until a time when they aren't home and I start cleaning like mad.

Ive been there! LOL! I used to have to pre warn guests, to keep hold of there Mobile phones, as my son used to have a thing about throwing mobiles and remotes, down the toilet! Heres a *hug* lol!

Oh my, you certainly have your hands full. I suggest getting those plastic cabnet locks from Home Depot and putting everything else up high, out of reach.
But he's SO CUTE!! Cherish these times, they go by quicker than you think!

My daughter still does this, and she's 2 1/2. Fortunately everything really poisonous is locked up, but I can count the number of times we've called poison control on more than one hand. One time was for eating moisturizer! Who eats moisturizer? Or lotion, for that matter?

It does sound like you need some locks. Gideon wasn't that bad in terms of getting into things like kleenex and wipes.

They can really keep you hopping at that age. Give him something to play with where you can see him.

You're kidding me. That's IT?!? My son was breaking FURNITURE by the time he was 16 months old. Get the magnetic locks for your cabinets. Store EVERYTHING that's breakable away. Lock your place down like FORT KNOX. My son is 3 1/2 and is still a force to be reckoned with. We call him the "Tazmanian Toddler". Give it until they're 4. Go outside a LOT. Let him run around in the rain and mud if you have to. It's the ONLY way you'll keep your sanity.
Excuse me, he broke the bathroom door again. I have to repair it....

Oh my, this certainly sound familiar. I still have a baby gate blocking the entry into the kitchen. My now two-year-old can climb it, but for some reason he never does. If he did, I would be in lots of trouble.

The gate went in about a year ago, when he just turned one. He got into the coke cans in the kitchen, dropped one and.....well let's just say the coke can was spinning around the kitchen floor for a while with coke spraying out in all directions.
