Should we be doing this?

It has been a while since I posted an update. Tomorrow we will be traveling about 1-2 hrs to visit the two grandchildren  we have yet to meet. They are the siblings to the two we are raising. they are boy boys and they are 16 months old and 3 months old. Here is the kicker... They are both placed in Foster care and it looks as if they may be placed up for adoption until it is all over.Yes they have asked us to take them and we said No however, I am really torn by this. I want to be fair to all 4 of the children and just don't think that we can do it money wise.

I really want both these boys to be in a loving family and have what we are able to give to the other 2. Oh by the way MOM is now in Jail at least until Feb. 2008. I don't see her changing her life. This is the 3rd time in 5 yrs she has been in prison. Her view is if the state takes these 2 she will just have more. It is so sad.

As you can tell there is a lot of mixed feelings here. Just looking for some feed back and support.
