This week's genre is Fantasy. Your story may be serious or light hearted or as silly as you like just so long as it is 100 words or less and written for the following prompt

It rained today but it wasn't raining drops of water.    What was it that was falling from the sky?

 

I looked up into the sky to see the rain
 clouds ,but they were not normal rain
 clouds there was a redness to them I
 have never seen before. Then the
droplets fell I looked up one drop hit my
 inside of my eyes the burn was so bad
 they bleed. It was acid rain my eyes
 were gone. Then came a being saying
 "We warned you !!!"
 
 When  people do not wear protective
 wear in Acid Rain!!

I have a few suggestions on how you can make this more suspenseful. You would have to re-write a bit though. Since, I've had some practice with 100 word stories, I could help you, if you want.

I liked the twist at the end.

Hi,
Acid rain hurts, that's so true :) I like this and I know of a good online word counter (I gave up trying to count words! LOL) Be glad to help out too and would put the word counter in here if I could find it. Wait, .... I found it :)
