Less Dark Moments

Even though it has only been about a month since my sister's passing, I think I have done quite well and the dark moments are less often.  She came to me in a dream last week for the 2nd time.  She has a smile on her face, doesn't speak, but does give me a hug before she disappears. 

I have wondered if 'they'(our loved ones who have passed away) really come to us in our dreams.  The reason why I am questioning this is because my younger brother had the same dream as me, but his was in a different location than mine. 

We still have quite a bit of things to do to get her things settled.  Our family has more contact now than we have in years.  I guess, sometimes it takes losing somebody to realize how important your family is.  I feel that the closeness that I have with my 2 brothers now is sort of helping me, since I know they are dealing with the same kind of emotions as I am. 

I do know that the holidays will be hard on all of us.  I plan on having our 'family' Christmas party like we have for years.  I think, I will purchase a angel to represent our sister as the tree top ornament.
