Jasminum polyanthum is naturalized in Australia and New Zealand It is regarded as an invasive species there!

This type of jasmine spreads rapidly as it can grow from any small section of stem material.runners spread  long distances. It is highly shade tolerant,and can flower under a full canopy.That is amazing to me as the onl jasmine Iknow needs the sun to flower!  Forming very  dense ground cover,it  prevents the growth of all other  seedlings, and smothers all other vegetation as far up as to mid-canopy level.

The flowers are snow white but when buds they are pink!The flowers are always grouped into clusters There is a fruit that is small and globose,and INEDIBLE
